Matt "Mattie" Allen:
Matt has a heart the size of texas. He will kill himself before he drops a barbell or fails a rep. Matt is a Met Con Maniac, just watching this dude workout will send chills down your spin. Mattie is away from CrossFit Oshawa up at Bruce Power on their Tac Team. He drives 3 hours to come home every weekend and follows the high performance programing the best that he can. He competed in almost every competition Ontario has had, including CrossFit Oshawa's podium finish at the Ontario Team Challenge. Matt is getting stronger every day and continues to surpass expectations, his CrossFit future is very promising.
Mike Arsenault:
Mike is one competitive bastard and a true elite athlete. He does the wods before anyone else and sets the tone for the rest of the day, daring everyone to beat him. Mike is a competitive ball player (pitcher) with hopes to make it to the states to play in the big leagues. With his strength numbers and wods going the way they are and if he puts half the effort/commitment into ball that he does into CrossFit he will be a shoe in.

Steve "Beski" Becskei
Beski, has been with us since day 1 and has not stopped improving. This guy has one hell of a life, he travels all over the states with his wicked job, and when he's not doing that, he's tearin' shit up at CrossFit Oshawa. When Beski starts training on the regular he will be a force in competition.

Evan Bombino:
The great Bombino! Evan is a superb athlete, coming from an extensive background in soccer and many other sports, Evan kicks the shit out of CrossFit. Evan's greatest asset among many is his mental ability, when most people quit, Evan soldiers on. Despite how he crush's wods, he is a genuinely nice dude, this guy has the total package as a true athlete. He didn't compete at sectionals last year, he gained the experience of being a judge. Most people don't know that Evan competed at the Ontario Challenge after sectionals and would have come top 10, but he had to bail before he could destroy the last wod. CrossFit games: look out for Bombino.
Kevin Bowles:
Kevin is the backbone of CrossFit Oshawa; not only as a coach but as an athlete as well. Bowles is a rarity among athletes. With the work capacity of a water buffalo, Bowles trains at an intensity that would send most people to the hospital. His speed and strength on barbells and rings doesn't stop there as his corners continue to be rounded each day.

Cam Cassidy:
Cam's nickname should be "Consistent Cassidy". He approaches every wod with consistency and persistance, like we saw in mikko salo, winner of the 2009 games. With a strong background in kickin ass and takin names, Cam is no stranger to competition and hard work. Cam is also an owner and coach at CrossFit Oshawa and has developed a capacity (mentally and physically) over the years that will steadily keep rising. Watch out for Cam because he will be improving very steadily and is in it for the long haul.

Ryan Kapeluk:
This Russian Beast has the strength of an Ox and the Power of an Olympic weightlifter, but he also has a heart of gold. Ryan takes the term "hard as fuck" and kicks its ass. He is a force to be reckoned with and it looks like he will kill somebody to get seconds off his time. As the wods get heavier, ryan gets meaner... And faster. In future competition watch out for this dude's game face, it will haunt you.
Andrew Moylan:
A natural athlete, Andrew should be nicknamed the "Chameleon". He started CrossFit merely months ago and is already a threat to any CrossFitter. For the biggest fellow in the gym Andrew holds his strength numbers where they are expected but also crushes body weight movements. This guy is a serious CrossFitter and will be a threat in any endeavor he decides to take up, he is just that type of person.
Kieran Parmar:
Kieran is one of the most strong willed people in any gym. He takes no prisoners and he beats down wods like its his job. Kieran has fun with CrossFit, however, his version of "fun" is unlike most people, he is a competitor. If you ever go up against Kieran in anything.... look out he plays for keeps. Kieran helped CrossFit Oshawa with its third place achievement at the Ontario Element Team challenge, Watch out for this big dog in the upcoming CrossFit events.

Tanya Rypstra:
This chick is badass. If CrossFit Oshawa had awards it would be a no brainer to give Tanya "Most Improved Athlete". She was in decent shape first starting CrossFit, but nobody would have imagined where she is at now. Her form, on alomst every lift, is like watching michelangelo paint the sistine chapel and she is as intense as a UFC fighter. With this combination Tanya continues to improve and is showing no signs of slowing down this progress, she will be crushing future competitions like a freight train.

Danielle Sullivan:
Danielle is CrossFit Oshawa's Barbell Beast, with some great strength numbers. But, don't be fooled, she is also a machine that tackles any wod thrown at her with blazing times. Danielle is training to be a Firefighter at UOIT in Oshawa, ONT. She Qualified for the Canadian 2010 Regionals, helped CrossFit Oshawa come 3rd place at the Element Ontario Team Challenge and will be a big threat to the CrossFit women in the future, look out.

Connor Vale:
The youngster. Connor is the youngest member of the high performance athletes, but you would never know it. This kid is strong/fast and his weightlifting is impeccable (not just for his age), he has the potential to be one of the most well rounded CrossFitters the sport has seen. Connor competed in last years sectionals and also helped CrossFit Oshawa obtain its 3rd place at the Ontario Element Team challenge. He is improving every day and his future spells CrossFit Games.
Krista Watson:
The Double Under Queen. Krista's Annie PR is the best in the gym and she is up to challenge anyone, anytime. Make no mistake things like her deadlift are very impressive too. Krista is a round the clock CrossFitter, she eats, sleeps, and breathes it. With her dedication and passion, nothing will stop her in her route to dominate any future competition.
Leea Wood:
Leea is the definition of firebreather. Most people are afraid of wods, well wods are afraid of Leea. She is with the Durham Regional Police and trains after long 12 hour shifts. She placed at the Ontario 2010 sectional to qualify for the Canadian Regionals and also helped CrossFit Oshawa place 3rd in the Ontario Team Challenge held at Element CrossFit this Summer. Expect big things from Leea in the Future.
